Classes Now Being Offered to First Responders at Northern Community College in Espanola, New Mexico

Caregivers working in the state of New Mexico now have an opportunity to learn and practice the technology of yoga and meditation. Northern Community College is offering a series of Kundalini Yoga Classes in their 2008 fall course offerings at the Espanola campus.

Personnel can earn 12 CE Credits for completing 12 sessions in any of the courses offered. (Reviewed and Approved by the New Mexico EMS Bureau for Continuing Education.)

The Create Inner Peace and Resiliency program is a landmark project pioneered by the State of New Mexico to offer First Responders classes in yoga and meditation to help them manage their own recovery from Critical Incident Stress (CIS).
